2nd Annual TGNCNB Leadership Collective – APPLICATION BELOW, DEADLINE AUGUST 7 2019

The New York State Ending the Epidemic Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming and Non-Binary (TGNCNB) Advisory Group in collaboration with the New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will be holding the 2nd Annual TGNCNB Leadership Collective.  The intent of this retreat style gathering is to enhance and foster leadership development within the TGNCNB community. The TGNCNB Leadership Collective will be held September 15-17, 2019 in Hudson, NY.

At this event, TGNCNB leaders and emerging leaders from across New York State are provided with an opportunity to gather in a safe space where they can address a myriad of topics and issues impacting them and their organizations in order to gain skills and insights that will enhance both their professional and personal lives. The gathering provides an opportunity to engage in a community dialogue to help support collective and individual healing, while building upon community leadership and organizing skills.

Because the class size is limited, a thoughtful selection process must be used. Your help in fully completing the application will greatly help the process. The application may also be submitted in video format. Instructions will be provided in a later section for video applications.

Participants from last year’s gathering provided valuable input and participation that informs this year’s event. While we encourage your application to participate in the event, in order to keep an intimate format, priority will be given to new community members interested in participating. Prior participants are encouraged to share this application and their experience at last year’s event with their communities.
